Donors have given to the association over the years in memory of classmates, in recognition of special teachers, as individual gifts, and as collective contributions at the annual banquet.The Chelsea Alumni Association is now recognized as a 501 C-3 tax-exempt organization by the IRS. This means your donations are tax deductible.
Answers to commonly asked questions about alumni donations
How can I donate to the Association Campaign or Scholarship Fund?
Please click here to download a Donation Form to help support your Alma Mater. After printing out the form from your PC, complete the form, attach your check and mail it to the CAA at the address provided on the form. We thank you for your continued support.
Are donations to the Chelsea Alumni Association tax-deductible?
Yes, we have full tax-exempt status. The Chelsea Alumni Association is now recognized as a 501 C-3 tax-exempt organization by the IRS.
Can I designate my gift for a specific program or purpose?
Yes, donors may certainly do so, but keep in mind that unrestricted donations to the CAA allow us to direct alumni dollars to those uses that provide the greatest benefit to Chelsea’s students.
Who should I speak with if I want to make a planned gift (bequest, charitable gift annuity, etc.) to the Chelsea Alumni Association?
